I liked this question and the general notion that kids are not happy all the time, and that's not a healthy goal--kids need to be given meaning rather than constant "happiness."
I also found this heartening and clarifying — it is a relief to remember that unhappiness and discomfort are emotions and experiences to be encouraged and appreciated.
