Welcome to the Monday Roundup of things that we’ve loved lately. I’ve never been more grateful for women’s voices and feminist voices. Below are some gems from this week.
I am one of the lucky ones—I will be eating a big meal this week in a blue state with blue people. I’m extra lucky because I’m eating with my partner’s family from the Caribbean, which means there might be turkey but there will definitely be shrimp, and there might be pumpkin pie but there will certainly be coconut custard.
There will be a little cooking (mostly ordering out), and lots of game playing and pie eating and movie watching. A quasi-homemade, quasi-American meal seems about all I can muster at the moment.
