Welcome to the Monday Roundup of things that we’ve loved recently—and what a week it has been, friends. We’ve never been more grateful for women’s voices and feminist voices. Some gems from this week:
First, Rebecca Solnit gave us our marching orders in the Guardian at the end of last week. “Rage is a form of prayer,” she said, quoting Reverend Dr. Renita J. Weems.
“Behind that rage is care…you are angry the children are being bombed or the forest is being cleared because you care about them, so it’s not the feelings about the forces of destruction that is primary. It’s the love, and not losing sight of that is crucial…Authoritarians love fear, surrender, people who’ve decided they’re already defeated, who are already afraid to resist. Do not give them what they want.”
I needed all the compassion, care and anger that
poured into this week’s Click.Read.Love.“Even when the Trunchbulls are in charge, there will always be Miss Honeys and Matildas who stand up for what is right, and fair, and good.”
also wrote about the importance of finding your people right now, and how there’s never been a better time to let them know that you love them.I wrote this week about how the well-funded manosphere drove the results of this election, ICYMI.

on how living and working in a red state won’t be all that different with Trump in office.“I do find it funny that millions of men voted for Trump because they are lonely and sad and feel entitled to the love of a woman. It’s not like JD Vance is now going to personally assign you a match on Hinge now that Trump has won. Ending no-fault divorce and the right to an abortion isn’t going to make someone suddenly happy to be dating or married to you. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was a silly musical, not the basis of a policy proposal. “Your body, my choice?”
Sir, women in the middle ages threw themselves on fires to get away from BS like that. We call them saints today.”
